Advanced Certification Program

The courses under Advanced Certificate Programme are value addition courses with greater emphasis on student skill development on high-end, industry standard software and hardware tools.

The highlights of these courses are:

The courses are for 4 months duration and full time. The certification courses are industry relevant and provide hands on training on Industry Standard Tools. Placement assistance will be provided for successful candidates at the end of the course

Applications Development using FPGAs

The growing requirements for processing speeds of the order of 10-100 billions of operations per second, the need for rapid prototyping and software definable architectures will further the penetration of FPGAs into the DSP communication market. In order to build complex and low cost products that are reconfigurable, FPGAs are embedded with microcontrollers. This has led to huge demand for developing complex embedded system based application on FPGAs. Hardware-software co-simulation and debugging is one of the most important aspects of developing embedded applications on FPGAs.

Real Time Embedded Systems are widely being used in automotive, defense and commercial products for various control and signal processing applications. With development in technology, there is need for expertise and talented manpower those who can meet the industry requirements and develop reliable and sophisticated technology for real time applications.

Course Commencement Date

There will be three batches every year. The batches will be started in the month of December, May and September. Admission process will be completed one month in advance.

Fee Structure

Fees details can be obtained from MSET Office. The fees may be paid in cash / DD at TRAC. The DDs must be drawn in favor of "M. S. Educational Trust” payable at Bengaluru.

Placement Assistance

At the end of every course candidates will be asked to attend interviews at various companies. Placement assistance will be provided to all candidates based on their performance in the course. Deserving students will be recruited in the R&D centre if interested.

Application Form

Application form can be obtained from the TRAC office, duly filled up application form in all aspects along with passport size photograph should be submitted to the admissions manager.

Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be based on merit and written test conducted by TRAC. Selected students will be intimated to join the course by payment of fees. Course fees are to be paid in one installment.

Certification Awarding

There examination (written test and assignment) conducted for every module. Students will be graded on their performance. Certificate will be issued to all students and grade sheets will be issued based on performance. The certificate will be awarded by M S Educational Trust.

Modular Certification Courses

The courses consist of theory and practicals that are offered in fast track mode. The courses are offered during week days as well as weekends (Saturday and Sunday). During week days the classes will be scheduled for 3 hours, during weekends the classes will be for 6 hours in the fast track mode. The modular courses are for working professionals, students and faculty members.

Course Schedule

The courses are offered in full time mode and part time mode. In the full time mode the classes will be for 10 days, 5 hours per day and will be scheduled in the morning hours. The courses will also be offered in the part time mode in the evening hours as well as weekends. In the part time mode – evening batches will commence from 6.30 PM and will be for three days in a week, and the classes will be conducted for 20 days. In the part time mode – week end batches will be on Saturday and Sunday, classes will commence from 10.00 AM onwards, and will be held for four weekends.

Course Commencement Date

The short term course will commence every month. Prior registration is required for taking up admission or attending classes.

Short Term Courses

The courses offered under short term are for three days duration full time from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM. The objective of this course is to give firsthand information in respective disciplines that would give them an insight the industry requirements. The following are the courses offered under this program:

Corporate Training Programs

TRAC conducts tailored training programmes for the industry to suit their requirements. The training programmes are formulated based on the specified industry requirements and expertise available in the centre and delivered at client place or at TRAC based on client convenience.

Graduate Engineer Training Program

This programme will cater to the training needs of the companies that require their "fresh out of college" employees to be conversant with the technical domain and tool knowledge required to execute their assigned job effectively. The contents of this programme will be customized in consultation with the client so that their specific needs are taken care of in the content. The programme will also be able to cater to the needs of the companies that require different groups of employees trained in different technological domains and tools.
